- Now, measure the window according to the way you would like to mount the blind. If you wish to mount the blind inside, the measurement must include the inside opening of the window. Outside mount measurement must include the outside measurement of the window casing. Ceiling mount measurement must include the exact size of vinyl window blind.
- 3. Raise the blind up to the desired mounting area and mark the edge of each side of the blind head rail with a pencil. Use a level when mounting the blind outside of the window frame.

- Lock the mounting brackets into place with a drill and the screws provided by the blind manufacturer. While you may also use a screwdriver for this purpose, a drill makes the task effortless.
- Attach the provided plastic end caps to the head rail and bottom rail of the blind. This will help keep the vinyl window blinds from sliding out during normal use.
- Attach the head rail into the mounting brackets and fasten the tilt adjustment wand. Hook the long rod to the top of the vinyl blind.
- You may also fasten the hold-down brackets to the window sill.
- Open and close the blind, and tilt the louvers in both directions to ensure that the blind functions correctly. In order to tilt the louvers, you will need to rotate the blind wand to the left or right. In case you want to raise the blinds, pull the cord downward, to the right.
